Who is Second Harvest?
Second Harvest is the largest food rescue organization in Canada. Every year, Second Harvest rescues over 10 million pounds of fresh, healthy, perishable foods and delivers to 253 social service agencies in the Toronto area and 15 Food Hubs across Ontario.

Food Rescue and Delivery
The Second Harvest fleet rescues good healthy food from across the supply chain - from farmers, processor, manufacturers, distribution centres and large retailer to ensure good healthy food gets to people who need it.
Feeding our Future
Sodexo Foundation‘s Feeding Our Future initiative is Canada’s largest free summer lunch program. For 8 weeks in the summer, teams of volunteers prepare nutritious lunches for summer camps across the city.
Training and Education
Second Harvest is committed to supporting our community through training, certification and on-going best practice workshops.
